Colorado San Juan Mountains | Cinematic

While coronavirus prevented me from doing much traveling away from home this summer, it led to me explore my own home more thoroughly than ever before. I am so privileged to have been able to enjoy the remarkable beauty of the San Juan mountains, and I hope to be able to share that beauty with viewers of this video.

In August 2020, I hiked in a 300 mile loop, going from Durango to Telluride to Ouray to Lake City to Silverton and back to Durango. In addition to hiking, I filmed my experience with a GoPro and DJI Mavic Air 2. This video showcases all the footage I took from the air with my drone alongside one of my all time favorite pieces of music: The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams.
