Italian Pepper and Egg Sandwich Recipe

There's nothing better than a pepper and egg sandwich on either hero rolls or round hard rolls! The oily peppers (used bell and Italian frying peppers) and onions are the perfect match for the soft scrambled eggs. I made a traditional pepper and egg hero and also showed how it can be made with some spicy cherry peppers and mozzarella to make it even better. I hope you enjoy this New York classic!
