Tobacco Prewilting - Root Prune

Small scale preseason test in which a sawzall is used to cut the roots of standing tobacco while in field in order to produce a wilting response. Time lapse is used to determine the approximate maximum and minimum of perceived wilting. Other planned tests include cutting, burning, freezing, and choking of the stalk.
