What is False Consciousness?

False consciousness is when people accept a system that works against them —
because they’ve been taught to see it as natural or fair.

It’s not stupidity — it’s conditioning.

You work harder for less, but believe it’s meritocracy.
You struggle in a rigged game, but think the rules are just.

Karl Marx argued that real change only begins when people wake up to this illusion.

If you believe the cage is freedom… will you ever try to leave?
