Imagine there's a lottery with a million tickets.

You believe ticket #1 won’t win.
Ticket #2? Also probably not.

In fact, for every ticket,
it’s rational to believe it won’t win.

But you also believe that one of them will.

That’s the paradox.

You believe each ticket will lose —
but also that one must win.

All your beliefs seem reasonable…
but together, they contradict each other.

So when is a collection of rational beliefs
no longer rational?
