Darley Abbey Mills — UNESCO World Heritage Site. 720HD.

Darley Abbey Mills belonged to the Evans family and are part of the UNESCO Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

Darley Park used to be the grounds of Darley Hall where Walter Evans and Elizabeth Evans (née Strutt) lived.

Darley House, where they previously lived, can be seen just in front of the church on Crown Derby Plate

Alongside the park, on the west side, used to be the grounds of St. Helen's House, where Elizabeth's brother William Strutt used to live. He was married to Barbara Evans, Walter's sister.

All of them were dissenters who attended the Friar Gate Presbyterian Chapel, Derby. It later became the Friar Gate Unitarian Chapel.
