Canon S95 Sound Test 14 - Dawn Chorus.

At dawn this morning I took my camera into the local park and was immediately struck by the loudness of the dawn chorus. I set up in a good spot by the River Derwent and made one continuous recording. This has been stripped off and put behind movies of the park, close to where the recording was made. The sound on the clips has been switched off. I was interested to hear that a jet that was taking off from a local airport could not be heard on the recording as it was behind the camera. The nearest bird was about 25 feet away and the birds on the other bank can clearly be heard. Recorded in Darley Park, Derby between 5 and 6am. Put together in iMovie.
