The Old Mission Chapel, Serampore.

A 360 degree view of the interior of the Old Mission Chapel, Serampore, which was the beating heart of the pioneering Serampore Baptist Mission. Services, baptismal classes, baptisms were held here. Pupils of Serampore School were taught and fed here, as were the missionaries themselves. Rooms leading off to the north and south were the earliest accommodation for the missionary's families. First occupied by the Serampore Trio in 1800. Now called Serampore John Nagar Baptist Church. The bird you can hear is called the Kak Kak bird. Filmed in April 2008.
