Starlit Sky, Ateneul Roman, Bucharest 2011

Shaun Davey's adaptation and musical setting of a poem by Romanian poet, Mihai Emenescu, 'Starlit Sky', sung by Rita Connolly in the famous Bucharest concert Hall, Ateneul Roman, with the Men's Choir of the Theology Faculty of Sibiu University (directed by Pr Sorin Dobre) and the Sibiu Holy Trinity Cathedral Choir (directed by Dan Steaza) with the Romanian Senior Youth Orchestra conducted by David Brophy, with Liam O'Flynn, uilleann pipes and Eóin ó Beaglaioch, button accordion. The concert was presented by the Irish Ambassador to Romania, HE John Morahan with support from Culture Ireland.
