Finale from Voices from the Merry Cemetery; Oameni cu Cai Men with Horses NCH Oct 2014

Soloists Calin Handabut and Liam O'Flynn, with the RTE Concert Orchestra conducted by David Brophy, perform the finale to Shaun Davey's Voices from the Merry Cemetery at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. The performance also features the Men's choir from Sibiu led by Pr Sorin Dobre and ladies from the Dun;aoghaire Choral Society. Oameni cu cai (Men with Horses) was added to the suite in 2014 by the composer, completing a suite of songs with words adapted from epitaphs in Sapanta, Maramures. 'Viatsa, Viatsa!' sung by the choir means 'Life, Life!'
