Baba Nomama is an old traditional Zulu wedding song "Inkondlo kamakoti" sung by the bride as a way of saying "I do". A Headman / Chief's Police officer presides over the ceremony, and as soon as he asks the bride "Do you love so-and-so (your husband)". The bride then breaks into a song (inkondlo of her choice, which in most cases in this old song) in her loud and clear voice "Baba Nomama nangishiy'okhalweni"
