BEYOND ZULU performing their intro/theme song 'Beyond Zulu' from their debut album: Mkabayi kaJama

Beyond Zulu Experience will soon be releasing their debut album officially. The name of this 12-track album is Beyond Zulu, titled #Mkabayi kaJama.
So titled because we are honouring Mkabayi kaJama for her major role in the history of the Zulu people, deposing and promoting various monarchs, including Shaka himself.

This formidable kingmaker was born a twin. Traditions and customs at that time dictated that one of the twins be killed: it was believed that she would bring bad luck to the Kingdom, or rather, what was then still a chiefdom. As confusing as this might be, Mkabayi was, according to tradition, destined to be killed at infancy.
