Tchaikovsky Concerto in G Op 44 2nd Mov Pt 1 Jablonski

The complete second movement of Tchaikovky's Second Piano Concerto is the heart of this often misinterpreted composition. . On December 15, 1879, Tchaikovsky wrote to Nadejda von Meck,"The sketch of my concerto is finished. I am pleased with it, especially the Andante." Here, Peter Jablonski gives us a beautifully conceived performance of the piano part of this movement that includes the final measures that Mikhail Pletnev cuts from his otherwise exemplary 1990 recording with Vladimer Fedoseyev.
