With everything going on I wanted to make sure that all of my self-employed friends and family are aware of the EIDL. The Economic Injury Disaster Loan is a loan that is designed for small businesses which also includes SELF-EMPLOYED! So this is a loan for self-employed who need help as a result of their business being negatively impacted because of the rona.

So if you are part of the gig economy and work on Uber, Lyft Doordash, Fiverr, Upwork, Taskrabbit, or any of these other gig apps, you might qualify for this loan. In addition to these apps, you might just do work around your town or city such as yard work, mechanic work, hair styling, fitness training, or anything else that legally allows you to make a living. If you report your earnings when you do your taxes then there is a chance that you might qualify for this SBA Disaster loan.
