Are you an independent contractor, small business owner or sole proprietorship who is feeling the impact of the Rona virus? Maybe you are a plumber, painter, landscaper, fitness trainer, mechanic, video producer, or many other professionals, have seen business come to a halt as a result of the stay home policies all across the country. For me, I provide a variety of different services some of which are heavily impacted by what's going on, similar to most other independent contractors and small business owners. Especially my general labor services such as moving, deliveries, and yard work, as well as digital media services like filming or taking photographs at events. With winter over now, usually, the wedding season would be underway as well as those general labor services. That's definitely not the case this year. Luckily I also provide business services such as sales, brand development, and marketing help, so I still luckily have business coming in but certainly not as much as I should.

So for this reason, I decided to apply for the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. This program was designed to help us independent contractors, small business owners, freelancers, and those with registered sole proprietorships. In this video, I walk you through each of the steps that you need to take to apply.

Now it's very important that you know this is a first come first serve $10,000 stimulus grant so you need to literally stop reading this and pull up the website to apply RIGHT NOW! As long as these loans are used towards legit business covered items including payroll, rent, and other business expenses, the loans are forgivable. Yes, that means you won't have to repay this portion back!
