Bass cover - Adele / Easy On Me

I was so blown away by Adele's vocal performance on Easy On Me, the long-awaited first single from her new album 30, I just had to learn the bass part. It's a beautifully written song, and Adele sings it with such power, control and emotion it just hits you like a hammer blow. Adele's voice has always been sensational, but in the years between her last album and this one it seems to have got even richer and more nuanced, which barely seems possible. The bass part, accurately described as "very tasteful" by Rick Beato in his brilliant video on the song (link below), is really nice to play and, because the percussion part is really just a kick drum, it's also the rhythmic backbone of the whole song. One thing to note - you can play the slide up to the D in the chorus on the A string but I just love playing it all on the E string so you get that really long slide up to the D.
