Bass cover - James Brown / There It Is - Pt.1

When I was learning to play bass as a teenager the thing I probably did most of all was learn and then play along to James Brown songs, and There It Is was one of the songs I played A LOT. The main groove is so simple but so effective and it's a great line to play to work on your timing and discipline, and it gets you in the perfect frame of mind for when you need to explode into the bridge. One of the things I love most about this song too is the size of the hole in the bridge (just after the one) when everything drops out - you could drive a bus through it!
