The Skin and Other Organ Systems: Skeletal, Nervous, Endocrine, Cardiovascular + More!
Skin is the major organ for the integumentary system. It is composed of tissues, which surprisingly has not just one or two types, but four: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nerve tissues. The epithelial tissue is involved in the covering of the surfaces while the connective tissues provide protection and support.
