Episode 124 - Saving the 5.4L Part 2 1997 Ford E-150 Econoline Part 2: Replacing Intake Gaskets

Welcome! This is part 2 of the series of videos where I am fighting with the Triton 5.4L engine in my 1997 Ford E-150 van after learning it was in a world of hurt. In this video, I tear down the top of the engine, get to the intake and remove it, replace the gaskets then get the new one positioned. I cover what parts I removed to do this and in what order.

One correction. Towards the beginning I'm looking at two long hoses that stretch across the back of the engine area and call them fuel hoses. They are not. Those are the coolant hoses for the rear heater core.

I apologize for this video being a bit less through than my other ones. I was running out of space on my phone so I had to be more brief as I was working.
