Hobie Mirage Passport 12.0 Demo - Great Lighter Pedal Drive Kayak for Fishing or Recreation!

I borrowed a Hobie Mirage Passport 12.0 pedal drive kayak from Strictly Sail & Kayak in Cincinnati to take out and play around with, and what a great kayak this is! I transport my kayaks on a car-top roof rack, so my perfect kayak has to be lighter weight but still have higher end comfort and movement because I often spend all day out in my kayak for tournaments. At just 73 pounds hull weight and 83 pounds rigged up, the Passport 12.0 is 12 feet long and 34 inches wide, with a 400 pound total weight capacity and a 275 seat weight capacity. The Passport is made from thermoformed polyethylene, so it is rugged and durable. This kayak is on the lighter end of the spectrum of good fishing kayaks, it has a solid and stable hull design, comfortable seat, moves well in the water, plenty of rod/tackle storage, and at under $1,900, I'd say this kayak is a great option for a fishing kayak, a river boat, or even a recreational kayak for getting out on the water!
