Ken Fisher Warns Investors to Brace for Increased Volatility
Fisher Investments’ founder, Executive Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer Ken Fisher anticipated a nice year for global stocks entering 2021, and, thus far, his forecast has played out. But Ken says investors must remember that market volatility can happen at any time for any or no reason at all. Long-term investors should mentally prepare for market fluctuations along the path to their financial goals.
Ken often refers to the stock market as “The Great Humiliator,” because it often scares investors into abandoning a disciplined, long-term investment strategy. As uncomfortable as downside volatility can be in the short-term, the market tends to reward patient and disciplined investors over the long-term.
