Hi, my name is Brenna… and I ended up really badly because of how desperate I was to make money.

The minute I turned 18, I moved across the country to go to university. Growing up, my mom and I hadn’t exactly gotten along. She was quick to anger and was never really there for me, so moving away didn’t seem like a loss.

At university, everything was great. My mom refused to help me financially, but I was okay with that. I got a job working in a restaurant and another job working in the library at the school. Working two jobs, my schedule was full, but I was really happy.

That is, until the virus hit. At first, it was just whispers that something was wrong. But as the weeks passed, everything changed. Our university was completely shut down, which meant I suddenly had lost my housing. I only had a couple hundred dollars to my name, and I desperately needed somewhere to live...
