NEW A5684279 Luna (lab 2) | Labrador Retriever
For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org
#A5684279 Meet Luna (lab 2), a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever with a gorgeous onyx coat and marshmallow-dipped toesies that are just too cute to resist! Petite for a lab, this sweet girl is overflowing with love and affection - she'll happily snuggle up and smother you with kisses! True to her breed, Luna loves playing in the water, but won’t turn down a game of fetch either. She has strong family dog potential - mellow yet playful, vibrant but gentle, and likely great with kiddos. Luna’s already making strides in her training, walking excellently on a leash and mastering basic commands like "sit." She’d thrive in group classes to learn more and properly socialize with other dogs, making her the perfect addition to an active family. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving lifetime companion, Luna is the girl for you!
1 year old black and white labrador retriever
51 pound spayed female
Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, Luna did catch a little doggy cold at the shelter, which is already being treated - she will need to be adopted on a health waiver, adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment
Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/8/25 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes, and Luna is a big sweetie pie, so we have no idea why!
petite for a lab, this little girl has a gorgeous onyx coat with marshmallow dipped toesies
sweet, gentle, and love to both give and receive affection - she'll snuggle close and smother you in kisses!
true to her breed's roots, she really enjoys playing in the water, but won't turn down a game of fetch
was very excited about dogs in the yard, so could make a good, if exuberant, pet sibling
Luna has very strong family dog potential - she is mellow but playful, vibrant but gentle, and is very likely to be good with kiddos
Luna also comes with the beginnings of some training - excellent on leash and good at basic commands like sit
would be an excellent candidate for group classes, so that she can learn more training and also how to properly socialize with other pups
