A4587293 Bella | Pointer Mix

A4587293 Bella is a spectacular 5-year-old white-and-brindle spayed female Pointer mix whose owners left her at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 5th. Weighing 40 lbs, Bella is what one volunteer called “a 5-year-old puppy.” She’s friendly, athletic, apparently non-responsive to other dogs, and she thinks she’s a lap dog—she crawled up on the videographer’s lap, and she rolled over to ask for a belly rub on the photographer’s table! On leash, she wants to lead, so some leash training is in order if Bella is to be qualified as a great walking companion. But we think she’ll do just about anything to please her people, which means she’ll probably be a quick study. Bella will, we think, make some lucky individual or family a fine perfect-sized family member and indoor pet. She’ll probably be best with an active person(s) given her “sportswoman” heritage, sturdiness, and nice medium-level energy.
