No Paint Tile Etching

I came across a few examples of another method of etching a white tile. In this method, there is no coating on the tile. You just run the laser over it and burn whatever it is you want. Then you rub a Sharpie marker over the whole tile and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Interesting results.
I tried several speeds and power settings and still haven't come up with what works on the LE5040 (5500mW LED laser). I will do some more experiments to see what seems to work well.
