In 2006 a Jane Doe would be found in Kilgore, Texas. She was wearing a Lavender colored shirt and a member of Webslueths decided that she should be named Lavender Doe. Her death was unsolved for years and her name unknown. Then in 2007, a suspect named Joseph Burnette would emerge. Except, he declined having anything to do with her murder. 5 years later he would be arrested for the murder of another woman who was found with Lavender nails. He would confess well also confessing to taking the life of Lavender Doe. Unfortunately, she was still unidentified. Then the DNA Doe protect would begin work to find her ancestors for genealogy testing. Because of them, in 2019 Lavender Doe would be identified as Dana Lynn Dodd after 12 years.
