Rescuers brave the cold to find quake survivors in China

Rescue teams have been working hard under freezing temperatures to help the injured and displaced on December 19, 2023, after a magnitude 6.2 quake struck China’s northwestern province of Gansu. The quake was the country's deadliest since 2014, when more than 600 people were killed in southwestern Yunnan province.
