Dinner in El Centenario Mexico: Casa de Bagre
My wife Kat and I met up with two YouTube subscribers Julie and Tim for dinner at Casa de Bagre in El Centenario. This restaurant is about 7 months old and has only been serving dinner for 6 weeks.
They have an excelent atmosphere, great views of the city of La Paz across the bay and praiseworthy food. The food is Asian/Mexican/American fusion. Small menu with a few specials each day.
Julie and Tim said they'd been here for 3 meals in the past 24 hours!
The staff was very friendly. The owner's parents were sitting at the bar and it felt like one big family. There are two resident dogs running about (but somehow they don't beg!) The pitbull mix is soooo friendly. He just wanted to be petted by everyone. The Australian Sheperd was more interested in getting people to throw his toys or just running in circles.
We also saw subscribers / friends Kelly and Jo and introduced them to Julie and Tim. It's such a small world down here - they quickly found connections back home in Oregon.
This dinner was a perfect example of why we all live down in Mexico.
