Congress office vandalised in post-poll clashes in Kerala's Kannur

Political tensions remain high in Kannur after a series of violent incidents following polling.

A Congress constituency committee office at Mayyil was allegedly vandalised in the early hours of April 10. The office was found ransacked, with window panes smashed, doors broken open, and furniture including chairs and cupboards damaged. Photographs of party leaders were also destroyed.

Congress leaders have accused activists of the CPI(M) of carrying out the attack. However, police have not officially confirmed who was responsible.
