Poll clashes erupt in Murshidabad, West Bengal

Clashes broke out between AJUP and TMC supporters in Shibnagar village of
Murshidabad during the first phase of West Bengal Assembly polls. The unrest
followed protests against AJUP chief Humayun Kabir, leading to stone-pelting,
vandalism, and a baton charge by police and central forces. The Election
Commission has sought a report.
