Cradle & Pan - Prospecting Flood Gold!

In this video we head deep into the Australian bush prospecting for recently deposited flood gold. And we are doing it the Old Timer's way - with cradle and pan and no modern devices. Sampling the recently deposited high-level gravels and the shallow clay 'false bottom' we get some very nice 'pickers' and a good run of colour from a small creek. The minimum amount of sampling requires shows how much fine gold exists in these goldfields creeks which run only a couple of times a year.
