The Developer tab in Excel allows you to access various advanced tools, including the Spin Button control. The Spin Button is an interactive element that lets users increase or decrease a value by clicking the up or down arrows.

Here’s how to use a Spin Button in Excel:
Step 1: Enable the Developer Tab
Open Excel.
Click on File Options Customize Ribbon.
Check the box for Developer under the list of main tabs.
Click OK to enable the Developer tab

Step 2: Insert a Spin Button
Go to the Developer tab.
In the Controls group, click Insert.
Under Form Controls, select the Spin Button (up/down arrows icon).
Click and drag on your worksheet to draw the Spin Button.

Step 3: Configure the Spin Button
Right-click on the Spin Button and choose Format Control.
In the Format Control dialog:
Current Value: Set the starting value.
Minimum Value: Set the lowest allowed value.
Maximum Value: Set the highest allowed value.
Incremental Change: Set how much the value changes with each click.
Cell Link: Enter the cell where the Spin Button will output its value.
Click OK.

Step 4: Test the Spin Button
Click the up or down arrows on the Spin Button to increase or decrease the value.
The value will update in the linked cell according to your configuration.

Step 5: Use the Spin Button Value
You can now use the value in the linked cell in formulas or conditional formatting to drive other changes in your workbook dynamically.
