Hermit Crab Living In Trash Moves Into Real Shell!

Hermit Crab moves from plastic bottle to a new beautiful shell. We found hermit crab who lived in the piece of plastic bottle. I just wanted to pick it up, but cab immediately dropped his only shelter and run away. Just a day before I found two beautiful dead shell on the beach and was going to take them home with me as a souvenirs. I decided to give him my shells and see what was going to happen. And at first crab was just keep running over them, maybe he was scared. So We have to step back a bit and finally crab made up his mind and first checked if shell is not occupied stuck his naked body inside that spacey luxury new home I gave him. Besides huge impact on land hermit crabs population due to los of habitat and deforestation, of course. Another concerning problem is plastic pollution. Plastic waste kills enormous amounts of hermit crabs annually.
