Chicken Sukka

Spice Paste for Chicken Sukka

Ingredients:

- 2 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 4 cloves
- 1 inch stick of cinnamon
- 10 whole black peppers
- 8 Baydgi/Kashmiri dried red chillies
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable/coconut oil
- 8 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp grated coconut
- 2 tbsp water (if required)

Chicken Sukka Ingredients (Serves 2):

- 2 medium onions (sliced)
- 2 green chilies (with/without seeds)
- 20 curry leaves
- 400g chicken (with/without bones)
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 5 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Salt to taste
- Warm water as required
