Side-lying lateral raises = one of those exercises that looks easy…until you actually try it 😅

Because you’ve eliminated momentum and gravity is working hard against you here, the weight selection will humble you QUICK. Most people need way lighter dumbbells than they expect.

This move is amazing for targeting the lateral delts (the side of the shoulders) and helping build shoulder strength and definition without needing heavy weight.

A few form cues:

✔️ Keep your arm slightly in front of your body
✔️ Lead with the elbow instead of the hand
✔️ Don’t swing or rush the rep
✔️ Control the lowering phase
✔️ Stop before your shoulder dumps forward
