Pismo Beach On A Budget! [Under $100] A Peek Into My Week!
On today’s adventure, we head to Pismo Beach in California! That’s right, work is taking me to San Luis Obispo where I get to visit Pismo Beach. One of the things I try to do while I’m out traveling is visit as many places I can. However, a lot of these things can add up quite quickly! So how do you do Pismo Beach on a budget?
On this episode of a peek into my week, we set a budget of $100. Let’s see if we can get Pismo Beach done at or under $100. We want to have fun, but we want to also be a little more cautious of our money and not just blow money everywhere we go.
We start off the day by visiting a candy shop where we buy some crickets that are flavored with sour cream and onion and bacon and cheese! I have never actually eaten a bag before, so this was gonna be a new experience for me.
We then wander over to a kite store and look around and I end up picking up a sticker. I love collecting small collectible, such as stickers and magnets, as they are easy to throw in the suitcase and are in an expensive way to commemorate a visit to somewhere.
Within head for lunch, and I was able to try what was called the worlds best clam chowder! At these touristy places, you can expect insulated cost of food as it’s very convenient. However, that seafood is definitely worth buying to me!
After that, we then head to the beach and get our toes a little wet as we walk up and down the pier and also along the shoreline. We see some really cool wildlife, including an otter! It was such a beautiful day that a lot of people are out, enjoying the wonderful weather.
Let’s stop was old west cinnamon rolls. This place is absolutely fantastic and I really suggest anybody that goes to Pismo Beach to give it a shot. I got a cinnamon roll, and a bag of dry mix to take home and make some more. Well worth the nine dollars!
Within to take a lift back to the hotel, and I was able to catch a beautiful sunset while eating the cinnamon rolls. The tide pools reflection of the sunset was absolutely stunning! This is a day that I won’t forget, and the best part of all is that we made it all happen for $91!
So Pismo Beach on a budget? Definitely possible! I was even able to pick up a souvenir long sleeve shirt from one of the gift shops! And still keep it under $100 total. Definitely a place I recommend visiting if you plan on visiting Cal poly or San Luis Obispo or even Morro Bay. Pismo beach is a place that should be on everybody’s map!
