EPCOT Festival Of The Arts! [Day 2~Walt Disney World Vlog]

Today is the second day of our vacation to Walt Disney World! This day we were able to visit Epcot. Epcot has grown to be one of mine and Emily‘s favorite parks out of all of Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. While it may not be what Walt Disney originally dreamed it to be, it surely is a place full of wonder and excitement.

We start the day by joining the Skyliner to the back entrance near the world showcase. The international Gateway. International gateway drops you write off by the France pavilion in right away we saw a long line for Remy’s Ratatouille ride. But that’s OK because we planned on hitting this one up at the end of the day. We start strong by heading to Soarin’ around the world. As a pilot I love Soarin’. While I do have some complaints about the visual aesthetics of the newer version of this ride, I do love the feeling of flying over different parts of the world.

From there we had across the park and ride mission space while the wait times were low. This is always a fun one for The whole family as there is a different version for people who are not so adventurous. This happen to be my first time on the blue mission. It was pretty cool to go around the entire world and see different countries both day and night.

Something that has been on our list of things to do when it comes to visiting Epcot and Walt Disney World is to visit Club Cool. Now that Club Cool is back open we were able to visit and try all the different soft drinks from around the world. These sodas are quite refreshing drink during a hot day but will also bring a bit of a surprise. Especially the Beverly…

Something you need to ask yourself when visiting Walt Disney World, have you been to Epcot if you didn’t go on Journey into Imagination? Journey Into Imagination with Figment is one of our favorite rides and a must do each time we go to Epcot.

After journey, we had around to the different countries and try some of the different food booths that are offered. Since it is festival of the arts we wanted to try out some new foods from around the world. We had some cheese curds, some tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches, and from France and American Pavilion we had some beef Wellington, chocolate croissant, cakes and more! While the portion sizes aren’t the largest, it does give you a taste from around the world. Flavors that you would not normally have.

This is also our first time watching the Harmonious show at Epcot. Harmonious is a rather new show that boast a few different floats in the center of the lake in the middle of Epcot. The show is about 20 minutes long and has a lot of awesome lasers, lights, fireworks and special effects. This is not one that we wanted to skip as we have not seen a show at Epcot before. And we were not disappointed.

After Harmonious the park closed. However, as deluxe guests we were able to stay an extra couple hours. This is when we hit up Remy‘s Ratatouille Adventure! This ride was absolutely amazing! How they were able to get you to feel like a little mouse is part of the thrill. After Remy, we head over and do our last must do. Frozen! Frozen is one of our favorites and the girls absolutely love it! And the best part about it we didn’t have to wait more than 40 minutes for each of these rides combined!

What a long and eventful day! Our feet were tired but after a short Skyliner ride back to the Riviera we were home. Ready to start the next day at Hollywood studios!
