Coach Greg Doucette recently released a video of the top 10 exercises that he says you should AVOID FOREVER! According to Greg these 10 exercises are "overrated, dangerous, stupid, useless, and don't build muscle." Some very strong claims! While Coach Greg has a very large audience these days and I see where he is coming from, I do not agree with the overarching sentiment of this video, nor with the logic he employs to convince you to dump these exercises. Many of the exercises he outright demonizes have their place and they have their value, they simply need to be implemented correctly in the program. But to dump all of them all together is likely a good way to shortchange your long term progress. So let's analyze Coach Doucette's claims in a bit more detail and allow me to offer you guys an opinion from a slightly different perspective.
