Recipe Ingredients
Serves 5-6
2 cups of basmati rice
Water as required to wash rice
3 tbsp ghee/vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
5 cloves
4 green cardamoms
2 black cardamoms
2 inches of cinnamon stick
8-10 whole black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
2 onions (sliced)
1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tomato (sliced)
1 potato (diced)
1 carrot (cut in chunks)
1/2 cup green peas
1/2 cup French beans (rough cut)
1/4 cup sweetcorn kernels
1 tbsp garam masala OR biryani masala
Roughly cut coriander leaves
Roughly cut mint leaves
4 cups warm water
Salt as required
