Watch live: SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches NASA's TRACERS mission from Vandenberg, California

Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with seven satellites on this rideshare mission. Principal among them are the twin satellites comprising NASA's TRACERS (Tandem Reconnection and Cusp Electrodynamics Reconnaissance Satellites) mission. Liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, at 11:13 a.m. PDT (2:13 p.m. EDT, 1813 UTC). The first-stage booster, B1081, making its 16th flight, will land back at Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) just under eight minutes into the flight.

The TRACERS mission marks the 90th Falcon 9 launch this year. The two satellites will help better understand the interplay between Earth's magnetic field and activity from the Sun.

Our live coverage with commentary from Will Robinson-Smith will begin about 30 minutes before launch.
