SpaceX Super Heavy Booster performs static fire test

A little over three months after SpaceX launched the fully integrated Starship rocket, teams at Starbase near Boca Chica Beach, Texas, conducted a static fire test of a Super Heavy Booster, dubbed Booster 9.

The test was also an opportunity to gauge the effectiveness of the recently installed flame deflector system against the 33 Raptor engines.
