Highlights of today’s video update

The Latest plans includes introduction of digital visas which would let Government departments to limit access to benefits, services and work if visa has expired

Information will be shared between departments and third parties including employers

The UK Government believes this will lessen 'major pull factors' for illegal immigration

Illegal migrants who have overstayed their UK visa will have access to advantages for example the NHS automatically banned under new plans to transform the UK's border controls.

The new plans, which were published on 24 May 2021, incorporate the introduction of digital visas which could be launched by the year 2025 and would let the UK Government to limit access to 'benefits, services and work' if their visa has expired.
