Inbox Review of the 1/35 Scale Ford V3000 Maultier with Shelter Model Kit from ICM

At the beginning of World War two, the German units found it difficult to get supplies through across country to their units with wheeled vehicles and found that half tracks like their Sd. Kfz. 11 could be used, but didn't want to take them away from combat so they opted to take other types of trucks like Fords and Mercedes and make them into Half Tracks so they could better resupply their units, and provide services like with this version of the Halftrack, the V3000 Ford Ambulance. All versions of these Half Tracks are the Sd Kfz 3, the Ford version being the 3b I believe. Over 20000 Maultier half tracks were built in the war.

About the model kit

Outside the Model Kit looks really good, but there are a lot of pin marks on the inside, some in places that are not so good, and they didn't add any detail into the Shelter, it is made to be closed unfortunately. I think it would have been nice to have an interior in there as well, and I think the interior of the cab could be a little bit better as well. Otherwise it looks like a great model to build.
