Howloween on Small Dog Day

Today was Small Dog Day and our Howloween Pirate Pawty for the little dogs. Boy was it fun from the get go!

Dress ups, treasure hunts, walking the plank and seeing little Elle and Evie too.

The costumes were awesome. Chocolate Cocker brothers Rolo and Milo came as matching Captain Hooks, the Cavvie girls wore matching Pirate costumes, Taz had a cat on his back with red spatter on his face, and little Poppy the Toy Poodle had an incredible handmade costume by mum that looked like it had come straight off the catwalk ... we have some very clever pawrents!

There were several achievements made in the pool today. Little Bridget the Shoodle has progressed from simply floating to floating with one front paw paddling, she makes it look effortless and easy and we can’t help but smile seeing her.

But the big highlight of our day has to be Bentley boy the Mini Dachshund dock diving in the pool. We had thought Zeus was the only known Mini D dock diver but Bentley took the plunge today challenging his little pal Zeus to some healthy farm competition! Way to go Bentley we can’t hardly believe it to be honest ... Bentley has come ahead leaps and bounds literally since the heated pool was opened and today he took it to that next level. Good job buddy!
