Here’s a challenge. Close your eyes and try to visualise an entrepreneur. There’s a good chance that what you’ve come up with will be one of the usual suspects — Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jack Ma, perhaps some of the older versions like Steve Jobs or even Thomas Edison. Hopefully there’s a fair number of women represented, players like Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce or Ariana Huffington; after all statistics show that 252 million entrepreneurs out of approximately 582 million in the world are female (https://whattobecome.com/blog/women-entrepreneurs-statistics/).
But that's not the only kind of person who acts as an entrepreneur - in fact we're all potentially playing the role, as this podcast suggests.
