Sea Turtles at Poipu Beach | Best Snorkeling Spots on Kauai

Poipu Beach is one of the best spots to snorkel on Kauai. It's a big sandy beach, with shallow water and plenty of marine life. We saw a Hawaiian monk seal, dozens of sea turtles, and lots of tropical fish. This is a popular spot for both Hawaiian monk seals an sea turtles to come ashore and sunbathe. It was really cool to see the turtles come up on the beach. Throughout the day more and more of them came up and there were over 20 turtles laying on the beach when we left. It was raining the day we had originally planned to snorkel here, so we were very super excited we were able to come back on a sunny day and experience it.
