Rotator recovery OVER a wall on the freeway. Watch as I use Hulk, my 50ton rotator, to fix a messy load shift on the freeway. The customer was hauling a 10ton crane counterweight that flew off the trailer, hit the back of his cab, and landed in-between the trailer and the wall. My first instinct was to park parallel to him and do the recovery from his driver side. Then I had the thought to take it up a notch and do the entire job from the freeway onramp on the opposite side.

By positioning my truck here, I was able to work the entire job without having to close down any additional lanes. Using the 5 degree tilt feature on this Miller rotator, I was able to level out my truck for a stable platform despite being on a steep embankment. The job was very fun with my usual out of the box thinking, and in no time we got the load corrected. The driver was only going to the next exit and made it safely.
