My First Hydromel: Strawberry + Vanilla Mead (July Monthly Mead)

Today we are making the July Monthly Mead which will be a Strawberry and Vanilla Hydromel! Hydromels are meads that stay under 7% ABV which means we are using less honey. There are a few tricks when trying to control the overall ABV of a mead and I discuss a few of them in this video. Ingredients for this mead:

3 gallons of water
3.5 Pounds of Nature Nates Honey
1 Packets of Lalvin K1-V1116 Yeast
6 Pounds of Strawberries
A small amount of vanilla (Added based on taste)
