1/4 cup olive oil
red onion (small, chopped)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup tomato paste/purée
1 cup double cream
salt, pepper
2 tsp chilli flakes
chopped basil leaves
1 tsp cayenne pepper
pasta of choice
(+ save 1/2 cup of pasta water )
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tbs butter
