COOK WITH ME | Veggie pasta + homemade baguettes! 🥖✨

Today's episode of "Allison's Eats" features a super special recipe to me. 🥗🍽 This veggie pasta is inspired by a recipe we had on our honeymoon almost 2 years ago! It is simple, healthful, and makes for great leftovers.🍝 Also, if you want to go all out, it is paired nicely with some fresh homemade baguettes. 🥖 I hope you enjoy this meal & "cook with me". PASTA INGREDIENTS:
+ 16oz package of spaghetti
+ 1 large onion (you can use a red or yellow onion)
+ 1 bell pepper (I used half of a yellow pepper & half of an orange pepper)
+ Green beans (I used a 12oz bag but this doesn’t need to be exact)
+ 4 large garlic cloves
+ Capers (I used two 3.5oz jars)
+ 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
+ 2 teaspoons onion powder
+ 2 teaspoons garlic powder
+ 1 1/2 teaspoons Red pepper flakes
+ 2 teaspoons dried oregano
+ Ground black & sea salt to taste

PASTA DIRECTIONS:
(wash & trim all veggies/produce)
1.) Saute your onions over 2 tablespoons of olive oil until they are translucent
2.) Gradually, add in your green beans, bell peppers, garlic, cherry tomatoes, & capers
3.) Season to taste with your onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, and ground black pepper
4.) Cook until all veggies are soft & fragrant
5.) Cook your spaghetti according to package directions
6.) Combine veggie medley with drained pasta
7.) Serve & top with parmesan & butter (optional)

+ 3 1/2 tablespoons warm water (microwave water for 10 secs to make warm)
+ 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
+ 2 cups bread flour
+ 2 teaspoons kosher salt
+ 1 1/4 cups of cool water (you may not need all of the water)
+ additional flour, for dusting (can be bread or all-purpose flour)

SALAD DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
+ Juice of one lemon
+ 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
+ 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
+ Season with oregano, sea salt. & ground black pepper to taste
